Fairness in practice
A concern deserves
a proper hearing.
The selected Victorian model rules contain the association’s proposed disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Fair process under the model rules
The rules set out notice, an opportunity to be heard, impartial decision making and appeal arrangements for disciplinary matters. Grievances have a separate process for discussion and, where needed, mediation.
Read Parts 3 and 4 of the model constitution for the actual steps and time limits. The earlier custom v2 procedure is not adopted as a competing process.
Raising a concern now
The verified complaints channel is being established. The contact tool can prepare a draft locally, but a saved draft is not a lodged complaint. Do not upload sensitive evidence to this website.
